Nancy Falaise is the heart behind a dynamic business that blends a hair salon, an academy, and her own line of hair products. For nearly 12 years, she has specialized in caring for curly and wavy hair, working with clients across North America, North Africa, and Europe.

Her personal and professional journey took a powerful turn in 2013, when she rediscovered her natural curls after recovering from breast cancer—curls she had lost during treatment. That moment sparked a transformation, not just in how she saw herself, but in the mission she set for her life and career.

Today, Nancy is driven by a mission to help women reconnect with and embrace their natural beauty. She empowers them to appreciate their hair in its natural state—and to believe that they are beautiful just as they are.

A Life of Care, Compassion, and Community

Over the years, as a hairdresser, educator, and mentor, Nancy has devoted special care to supporting women who’ve been affected by breast cancer. Drawing on her own experience and the stories of the women she’s met, she leads with compassion and insight—qualities that inspired her newest project.

How Mi-Hermana Was Born

Mi-Hermana was born from a deeply personal experience. Nancy’s younger sister, who shares the same genetic predisposition to breast cancer, underwent preventive surgery. During her recovery, she turned to Nancy for help finding feminine, comfortable post-mastectomy bras—only to discover that nothing on the market truly met her needs.

Fueled by love and a desire to make a difference, Nancy created Mi-Hermana. She designed a bra specifically for women like her sister, combining comfort, femininity, and thoughtful functionality. It’s more than a product; it’s a symbol of support, strength, and sisterhood.
